Pfabe's Music offers private instruction in piano, guitar, percussion and most band & orchestra instruments including trumpet, low brass, clarinet, sax, flute, viola, violin, cello and string bass.

Ron Abrams (Sax, Flute, Clarinet) Ron has been on the teaching staff at Pfabe's since 1992. He has a B.A. in Music Ed. from Kent State University and played with the 50th Continental Army Band. Ron has been a private woodwind teacher for over 30 years. Jonathan Beveridge (Bass, Vocal) Donna Bushnell (Piano) Donna began teaching at Pfabe's in 2005. She was a keyboard major at Kentucky Christian University and also has her Masters from Lake Erie Collage. Donna has been teaching for over 25 years. 
Arlyn Caral (Piano, Woodwinds) Arlyn has been on the teaching staff at Pfabe's since 1992. She has a B.A. in Music Education from Southern Illinois University. Arlyn is currently a Music Education teacher in the Willoughby-Eastlake school system. 
Jason Donovan (Guitar) Cherie Gregory (Flute) Cherie has been on the teaching staff at Pfabe's since 1997. She has a B.A. in Music Education from Kent State and has taught music at various public schools. Brianna McKinney (Voice) Dan Dimateo (Strings) 
Tena Kegg (Piano) Tena joined the teaching staff in 2005. Her piano training includes Willoughby School of fine arts and Cleveland Fine Arts as well as private instruction. She has served as pianist at several area churches. Tena has been teaching over 7 years. 
Brian Lago (Trumpet, french horn) Brian has a B.A. in Music Education from Bowling Green and has over 25 years of teaching experience. He also works as a free-lance professional trumpet player. Pam Mariano (Piano) Pam was added to the teaching staff in 2003. She studied piano and theory at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Pam has been teaching piano for 16 years and has been a professional musician since 1982. 
Bill McCormick (Guitar, Harmonica) Bill has played guitar for over twenty years. He now plays lead guitar at the Church of the Nazarene in Richmond Heights. Marco Nerone (Percussion) Len Orcino (Low brass, Jazz piano) Len is a retired school teacher with 35 years of music teaching experience. He has a B.A. and Masters in Music Education from Case Western Reserve University and has done addition graduate work in jazz education with considerable performace experience. Bill Pinkava (Guitar) Bill joined the teaching staff at Pfabe's in 2005. He has a degree from Ohio State. Bill has 35 years experience on the guitar and has a veried background including folk, bluegrass, finger style, jazz, flat pick, classical, and flamenco 
Dale Rodgers (Guitar) Dale began working in 2005. He has a B.A. from Ohio State ans has been teaching for over 10 years. Dale teaches many styles of guitar including folk, classical, jazz, and blues. 
John K. Roeland (Drums, Percussion) John has been on the teaching staff since 1987. He has a B.A. in Music Percussion from Peabody Conservatory of Music and has played for several symphonies as well as over 200 performances with the Ice Capades. 
Jeremy Sullivan (Drums) Jeremy has been on the teaching staff at Pfabe's for 4 years. He studied MusicEducation at Ashland, Cleveland State and Lakekand. He has played for several musicals. Jeremy has 9 years of private teaching experience. Mike Vara (Sax, Flute, Clarinet) Mike has been on the teaching staff at Pfabe's for over 18 years. He has a B.A. from Youngstown and a Masters in Music and Performance from Cleveland State. He has been teaching band in the Painsville Township School System for over 30 years. Lesson Policy
Lessons are scheduled as weekly 1/2-hour lessons in our in-store studios. Rates are $18 per lesson. A discount of $2.00 per lesson is available if the monthly tuition is paid in advance. For example, a typical 4-week month will cost $72.00. However, if the payment is received before the start of that month, the cost drops to $64.00.
Students are buying the instructors time. Therefore, cancellations must be received at least 24 hours in advance in order to be credited. Students should work with their instructors to schedule make-up lessons.
In the event of a teacher cancellation, either a make-up session may be scheduled or the lesson credit will carry-over.
